Ending

I'm doing poetry this month, in case you missed the first post.
burning branches

The flame dark goldenrod,
Swallows the crumpled photograph,
As she watches,
Memories-no more...

The blare of punk,
Drowns the cacophony
Of silence, as she hears,
Voices-no more...

  Sobs and cries reign,
Happiness is history,
As she hears,
Laughter-no more...

The sparks light up the floor,
The ceiling, the house, the self,
As she burns,
Life-no more...

It's finished.

The mind works in mysterious ways but the wanderings of the heart are a pure enigma...

  4. Nice! I have so much envy for folks who can write poetry. So not one of my talents *sigh*
