Yet

I'm doing poetry this month, in case you missed the first post.

Take
For granted
that which isn't
Haven't lost all, though,
Yet

I was inspired to write this Elfje by reading one written by Zainab, a fellow A-Zer. I had actually written three stanzas but decided to post only one beacuse the poem sounded similar to what i'll be posting tomorrow for Z.
Enjoy reading!
P.S. One more day to go! :)

  1. Hello, my friend... not sure what an Elfje is... perhaps a five line poem? With one word, then two, then three, then four, then back to one? Anyway, I enjoyed it. Best regards to you. Ruby

  2. Fantastic poem. Short, yet full of meaning.

  3. I like it! I don't know many forms of poetry, but I like how this one works, beginning and ending with one word, like bookends. Very nice.

  4. Short and beautiful ... good work needs no excessive amount of words.
